Welcome to Citizens Academy East, the newest of our Citizens Academy schools throughout Cleveland, Ohio. In 1999 we opened our founding school, Citizens Academy. Last year, Citizens Academy was named one of the highest performing schools in the United States — a “National Blue Ribbon School” — by the US Department of Education. Based on our years of success, we are so excited to be opening our new elementary school — Citizens Academy East — to serve more children and families in Cleveland.
